In February 2004, our 28 month old daughter was diagnosed with Autism. Before receiving her official diagnosis, my husband and I poured ourselves into researching everything we could about Autism. The amount of information available was just too much for us to tackle alone and we quickly found ourselves overwhelmed and confused. These frustrations led me to create this site as I hoped our experiences and information could help others new to their journey.
We have been extremely fortunate from the start of our journey. We continue to have unwavering support from our family and friends and have located tremendous resources in our local as well as worldwide autism community. We are committed to researching and investigating new ideas and advances in Autism and are reminded daily that we are not on this journey toward recovery alone.
